My Favorite Painting
My favorite painting is "Guernica" by Pablo Picasso. I'm not usually a big fan of cubism, but "Guernica" is an exception. This is my favorite painting becuase there is a lot of things going on in it. I also like the inspiration Picasso had behind creating the painting.
"Guerinca" incorporates many of Horowitz's terms. For example, it seems that Picasso didn't have trouble with many decisions because everything seems all over the place. However, the painting has a lot of depth to it. There are so many things going on, and each of these expresses a certain idea. The lighting also has a great effect on the focal point of the painting. There is a light bulb in the center of the drawing which shines on all of the activity in the painting.
